For freight brokerages

Your TMS was never a sales system.

So your reps keep a spreadsheet, a phone, and a bolt-on dialer that doesn't talk to either. Inboxsmith is the CRM underneath the calling — the list, the dialer and the voicemail drop in one place, at one price.

500 founding seats at $19/user/month — about a fifth of what the cheapest competitor charges for a plan with a dialer in it.

We read the TMS APIs. There is no sales layer in them.

Loads, trips, drivers, trucks, check calls. Those are operations objects. Across the freight TMS API surface there is no customer-activity record, no call log, no contact-interaction object and no disposition taxonomy — because a TMS is not a sales system and was never trying to be.

That is why a bolt-on dialer never quite works on a freight desk. It has nothing to sync to, so it degrades into dialing by hand — one number at a time, against a quota of two hundred calls a day. Inboxsmith owns the list natively, so the dialer has something to dial.

The list is the product

Your prospects live in the CRM that dials them. No export, no paste, no second tab, no "which list is current?"

Dispositions that exist

Outcomes land on the lead and roll into reporting. Your TMS has nowhere to put them, so we stopped pretending it did.

One plan. The dialer is in it.

The dialer is the product, not the upsell tier. Everything below is in every seat — $19 on the founding rate, $99after.

  • Power dialer

Single-line session dialing with auto-advance, per-session stats, and a countdown you can actually cancel.

  • Voicemail drop

One click, pre-recorded, while the line is still ringing. Your rep is already on the next call.

  • Full CRM core

Leads, contacts, opportunities kanban, activity timeline, saved Smart Lists, CSV import and export.

  • Call recording + timeline

Every call lands on the record it belongs to, with recording and duration, automatically.

  • Inbox work queue

Tabs with live counts, snooze, bulk actions, and a next-lead walkthrough so the desk never stalls.

  • Reporting

Calling, pipeline, lead and activity dashboards. Not an upsell tier.

  • Your whole team

Invites, roles, per-user number assignment. Same price per seat, no minimum.

  • DNC field, no surcharge

Suppression lives on the record, not behind a $20-per-user add-on.

The number is the number.

In this category the sticker price is rarely what you pay. Here is ours, and here is theirs as published.

Close$19–149 / user$150–250 / userPower dialer is gated behind the Growth and Scale tiers. Call Assistant, phone credits, premium lines and enrichment stack on top.
Kixie$95–215 / user~$305 / userMulti-line dialer $185, then +$50 ConnectionBoost, +$50 Conversation Intelligence, and +$20 per user for DNC checking alone.
PhoneBurner$165–215 / user$265–615 / userMonthly billing rates. Calling minutes bill separately at roughly $0.03–0.05, which is where the rest of it comes from.
Salesdash$83 / user~$83 / userThe other freight-native CRM, and genuinely cheaper. Click-to-dial only — no power dialer, no voicemail drop. TMS integration is Enterprise-only.
Inboxsmith$99 / user$99 / userThere are no add-ons. Plus your own Twilio bill, which you pay Twilio directly and we take no cut of — see below.

Competitor figures are each vendor's own published rates and published add-on prices as of July 2026, for comparison only. They discount, they change prices, and your quote may differ — check them yourself. Salesdash is cheaper than us and we have listed it that way.

You bring your own Twilio. Here is the honest version.

Every Inboxsmith customer connects their own Twilio account. That is unusual, so it deserves the trade-off stated plainly rather than discovered during onboarding.

What you get

  • Your carrier account, your numbers, your registration. If you ever leave, you keep them.
  • We take no cut of your calling. There is nothing for us to mark up.
  • Carrier rates at cost. Twilio publishes roughly $0.014 a minute for outbound US calls and about $1.15 a month per number.

What it costs you

  • A compliance check before you can dial. Twilio verifies you through their Trust Hub — for most people a quick ID check (ours cleared in minutes); registering as a business instead takes a real review (ours took 81 minutes). Their process, their clock — data points, not promises; some reviews take days.
  • A second bill. Roughly $45–95 per rep per month at heavy dialing, paid to Twilio, not to us. That is an estimate, not a quote — per-minute rounding means a rep burning 200 dials a day sits at the top of the range.

One thing we will not tell you: that any of this makes your calls get answered more often, or keeps your numbers from being labelled. Whether a carrier flags a number is decided by the analytics engines behind AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, based on how a number actually behaves — call volume, very short calls, complaints. No platform controls that, and anyone selling you otherwise is selling you something. Inboxsmith is tooling for a desk that already knows who it is allowed to call.

Founding access — 500 seats

$19 per user per month, held for as long as you stay subscribed. Month-to-month. No contract, no seat minimum.

One question on this form matters more than the rest, and it is the one about what you run today. We would rather know what you actually use than promise you an integration list we invented. The answers decide what gets built first.

  • — Joining the list is free. Nothing is charged on this form.
  • — When a seat is confirmed you pay $19 per seat to hold it — see the terms for the deposit details.
  • — Twilio verifies you before anyone can dial — for most people that's a quick ID check (details, photo ID, a selfie; ours cleared in minutes). Registering as a business instead takes a real review — ours took 81 minutes, some take days — and we can't speed either up.
  • — A real person reads every one of these. That person is Justin.
