The service
Inboxsmith, LLC ("Inboxsmith," "we") provides an inbound AI receptionist for home-services businesses: it answers your calls, books jobs, transfers callers to your crew, and triages emergencies, 24/7. The receptionist always discloses that it's automated, records calls with disclosure, and never invents a price or an appointment time — it quotes your approved prices or leaves pricing to your office, and offers time windows your office confirms or firm times you've authorized.
By starting a pilot or subscribing, you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
Your account and acceptable use
- Give us accurate business information and keep it current.
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes and your own business's inbound calls.
- Don't resell or white-label the service without a separate written agreement.
- We may suspend service for abuse — spam, unlawful call or message traffic, or use that puts our carriers or other customers at risk.
Messaging program terms
With your opt-in consent, we send account-related and marketing text messages (for example, pilot updates, missed-call summaries, and offers). Consent is opt-in and never a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Our privacy policy covers how we handle your mobile number and opt-in consent.
Pricing and billing
- One plan: $397 per month, done for you, with about 1,800 minutes of talk time included — roughly 600 calls at average call times.
- Overage: $0.20 per minute after the included minutes. Talk time is billed rounded up to the next whole minute.
- One-time setup: $997 — waived entirely on an annual contract, and $498.50 (50% off) on a 6-month term.
- Free 7-day pilot: up to 7 days or 300 minutes, whichever comes first. A card on file with a $0 authorization verifies your business; you're never charged during the pilot.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals.
- Monthly fees: if you cancel mid-month and ask, we'll refund the unused remainder of the current billing month, pro-rated.
- Setup fees are non-refundable once onboarding work has been performed — that work is already done.
- Term plans (6-month and annual): monthly fees stay refundable pro-rated as above. If you terminate before the end of your term, the setup discount you received for that commitment unwinds: the waived or discounted portion of the $997 setup fee becomes payable.
Service availability and disclaimers
We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service running around the clock, but we can't promise uninterrupted service — telephony, carrier, and AI-model providers can fail in ways outside our control. The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Travis County, Texas.
