OpenAI announced on August 10, 2026 that Premium seats are coming to ChatGPT Business. Everything below comes from OpenAI's own announcement. Premium is not generally available yet, so this is a waitlist rather than something a team can buy today.

OpenAI said today that Premium seats are coming to ChatGPT Business. The waitlist is open now.
OpenAI says Premium gives the most active teammates five times more usage than Standard seats. It removes the five hour usage limit and adds predictable weekly usage resets.
Premium seats cost 125 dollars per user monthly, or 100 dollars annually. Standard stays 25 dollars, or 20 dollars annually. Owners can mix both seat types in one workspace.
The first ten thousand eligible customers get 100 dollars in credits per Premium seat, up to 500 dollars. The promotion ends August 20. Premium is not available yet.
