Google launched Gemini three point eight Flash today. A cybersecurity variant ships too.
Pricing is unchanged from three point seven Flash. Seventy five cents per million input tokens. Three dollars and seventy five cents per million output tokens.
Google says Flash is built for long horizon coding and autonomous agents. Its own benchmarks show gains in software engineering and multi-step reasoning.
Flash Cyber handles vulnerability detection and automated patching. It is not generally available. Only trusted defenders get access through the new Fairwind Program.
