Google Adds AI Overviews, Dashboards and Benchmarking to Ads and Analytics
Google published an announcement on its Ads and Commerce blog, written by Josh Moser, Senior Director of Product Management, describing new agentic capabilities across Google Ads and Google Analytics. Everything below comes from that post. These are Google's own product claims, not measured results from an independent test.
Transcript
Google just announced new AI agents inside Google Ads and Google Analytics. Some of it is still in beta.
Google calls these agentic capabilities. Ask Advisor is Google's in-product AI agent across its marketing platforms. It launched earlier. Google says the new solutions are built with Gemini.
Analytics now opens with AI Overviews of changes since your last login. One click sends that card into Ask Advisor. Google Ads adds insight cards and a prompt box.
New Dashboards turn text prompts into visualizations with automatic summaries. Benchmarking compares campaigns against anonymized averages. Google says the cards and Dashboards are beta for English language accounts.
