Google Signs EU AI Act Transparency Code, But Warns Too

Google says it will sign the EU AI Act Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content, building on its 2025 signing of the GPAI Code of Practice and its work adopting the C2PA industry standard. The company highlights SynthID, its digital watermarking technology, and its partnerships with Apple, Eleven Labs, Kakao, NVIDIA, and OpenAI to drive adoption of interoperable watermarking tools.
