Transcript
IBM says the CFO job now includes AI strategy. Very few finance teams are actually ready.
A new IBM study surveyed fifteen hundred finance chiefs. Most say their role now reaches into enterprise technology and AI strategy.
Yet only six percent say finance is transformation ready, with AI embedded in its workflows at scale. Skills are growing faster than the work is being redesigned.
Organizations led by what IBM calls AI first finance chiefs reported revenue growth twenty three percent higher than their peers.
These are self reported answers, collected for IBM by Oxford Economics. The comparisons rest on how executives rated their own companies.
