Intel commissioned research says six in ten leaders expect robot fleets within five years. Only four in ten are ready.
Intel commissioned research surveyed eight hundred business leaders, robotics specialists, and government and healthcare officials. Those leaders predict that full scale robotics deployment could double operational output.
Four in ten say missing skills block scaling. Fifty five percent say safety concerns delayed deployment. Over three quarters say critical applications need decisions within one hundred milliseconds.
Intel commissioned this study and sells edge chips and robotics software. These are predictions, not measured deployments, from six countries and only organizations above five hundred million dollars.
