Google says Khanmigo has moved from pilots into real classrooms for back to school.

Khan Academy's tutor Khanmigo used to reply only in text. Google says it now uses Gemini to generate interactive diagrams for math and science.

It can build charts and geometric shapes. Drag a vertex or a line segment and Khanmigo recognizes the change and adjusts the lesson.

The Practice My Knowledge tool was rebuilt. Gemini drafts questions. Teachers upload materials then edit or reject each one before students see it.

Six Google engineers worked with Khan Academy on a six month Google.org fellowship. Khan Academy reports early signs of higher engagement. No figures were given.
