OpenAI Partners With America's SBDC
OpenAI announced a partnership with America's SBDC, the national network of small business development centers, which OpenAI says serves 1 million entrepreneurs each year. The stated aim is to help more small businesses use AI at work by pairing AI tools with the advisors owners already turn to in their own communities.
Transcript
OpenAI is partnering with America's SBDC to train small business advisors. Here is what owners get.
America's SBDC is the national small business development network, serving a million entrepreneurs each year.
OpenAI plans to train around one hundred fifty of those advisors. It aims to reach at least one thousand small businesses.
OpenAI's report says about four million small firm employees used its products in one recent week. New Mexico restaurant owners compared competitor menu prices with ChatGPT Work.
Those usage figures come from OpenAI measuring its own products. The training is a pilot, so those numbers are goals, not results.
