Salesforce Survey: 68% of AI Output Never Reaches the Team
Salesforce published new research today on how AI actually gets used inside companies. It surveyed 250 U.S. executives and found that most of what AI produces stays with one person: 68% say insights or outputs from someone's AI use do not get shared or reused by the rest of the team.
Transcript
Salesforce asked 250 executives how AI is used at work. Most of what it produces is never shared.
68 percent say what a person learns from AI does not reach the rest of the team. It stops there.
59 percent see work delayed weekly because it sits inside a single worker's AI tool. It is worse at larger companies.
Executives estimate employees lose about 22 business days a year switching between tools. Most want AI that works across the team.
Salesforce ran this survey and sells the products it recommends. The estimates are self reported and use the low end of each range.
